Recently I was driving behind a truck with the bumper sticker "Joy is seeing Yankees head back north."I am a New Yorker currently living in the south. I won't specify which state, as I would hate to start a shitstorm of Yankees wanting to settle down here.
What I will say is that I absolutely refuse to sit quietly by when some asshole says the word nigger. I don't care who it is. I refuse. To. Sit. By.
If I did, it would be as good as condoning it.
I'm sure there are plenty of open-minded people who reside in our southern states. And plenty of the other kind, too, which will become apparent should Barack Obama get the democratic nomination, or even come close.
